Private Prescriptions

With HSF Assist, you can get your medication on a private prescription delivered directly to you by the Pharmacy Service.

If appropriate, our GPs can prescribe medication over the telephone. If in stock and raised before 3pm, the medication is delivered the next working day to the patient’s home or place of work. Please note that these are private prescriptions and separate charges apply for the cost of medication and delivery. These costs are not covered by your policy.

How it works:

Doctor1. GP Consultation

If, during your GP consultation, either over the phone or via the web, the doctor decides medication is needed, a prescription is sent to the Pharmacy Service.

The service will call you to confirm the medication and the cost. If you are happy with these, you will then make a payment and the medication will be despatched to your preferred address.
